The BBA hosted the return of this intensive annual workshop for Public Sector Labor Relations professionals. This program familiarized labor relations practitioners with current trends in collective bargaining and other issues affecting public employees. Panelists covered significant labor law decisions of the SJC, shared priorities and updates from the Department of Labor Relations, and led a discussion on trending labor law issues related to retirement and other employee benefits.

IP Year In Review Conference
On Thursday, February 5th, 2026, members joined for the annual IP Year in Review Conference. This year’s conference brought together top in-house counsel, legal scholars, and expert practitioners from leading firms to break down the most pivotal court decisions and developments in intellectual property law over the past year. Discussions included insights on trade secrets damages, patent prosecution under the current administration, significant cases in the PTAB and Federal Circuit, how trademarks are influenced by AI, “dupe culture” and look-alikes, and the role of AI in today’s copyright landscape.
