Overview

The Delivery of Legal Services Section focuses on improving access to legal services, with special attention to the challenges of low-income communities. Legal Services leaders work along side the private bar in efforts to identify community needs and engage in meaningful pro bono efforts.

Pro Bono Trainings

We partner with local legal services organizations to offer meaningful and impactful pro bono opportunities, as well as trainings to ensure you have the necessary skills.

Annual Pro Bono Recruitment Fair & Open House

Sponsored with Suffolk University Law School, the annual pro bono fair provides attorneys and law students with a range of pro bono opportunities. The fair is held each October as part of the ABA’s National Pro Bono Celebration.

Walk to the Hill

Each January, hundreds of private attorneys and civil legal aid advocates converge on the Massachusetts State House to demonstrate their support for state funding of civil legal aid. Walk to the Hill, one of the largest lobby days at the State House, brings legal aid and the private bar together for the cause of equal access to justice for all.
