Creating a more inclusive Boston legal community
At the heart of the profession are the people that we serve. We believe in fostering a diverse legal community representative of our city and our clients.
We work in collaboration with our Affinity Bar partners in order to find ways to drive change, break down barriers, confront inequities and recognize those that have made strides in advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging and strengthening our profession.
DEIB Principles
We strive to increase and foster diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging within the BBA and have adopted the principles towards achieving a leadership and membership that reflects the diversity of the community in which we serve.
Affinity Bar Partnerships
We recognize that a diverse and inclusive legal profession is a strong one. That’s why we partner with seven local bar associations on programs and events, and support their work by providing them with meeting rooms, offices and other resources.
