Stephen is a partner and litigation attorney at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. Prior to joining Orrick, he was a partner at Holland & Knight. As a former CPA, Stephen utilizes his combined financial and legal expertise in representing clients in matters involving complex commercial disputes, class actions, false claims, fraudulent activity, unfair and deceptive business practices, unfair settlement practices, and executive-level employment issues. Stephen is currently the President-Elect of the BBF. He is a member of the BBA Council and of the Joint Finance Committee. He has previously served on the BBA Nominating Committee, the Beacon Award Selection Committee, the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Section Steering Committee, the New Lawyers Steering Committee, the Summer Fundraiser Steering Committee, and the Casino Night Steering Committee. He has also served as BBF Treasurer. He is a past president of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association and has been involved in pro bono work for Kids in Need of Defense and the Innocence Project.
Stephen is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and Suffolk University Law School.
