D’Andre Fernandez is an Assistant Bar Counsel in the Attorney and Consumer Assistance Program (ACAP) of the Board of Bar Overseers (BBO) and the Office of Bar Counsel (OBC), where he investigates initial complaints against attorneys for ethical misconduct. D’Andre has been a member of the board of the MBLA for the past eleven years, most recently serving as President. He is a member of the Boston College Law School Alumni Board. D’Andre has received multiple recognitions, including: the “2018 GK25 Who Is Who” Awar; recognition as  one of the 25 Most Influential Millennials of Color in Boston by Colette Phillips Communications, Inc.;; recognition as an “Up and Coming Lawyer” at the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s “Excellence in the Law” event; , and most recently as one of the Boston Business Journal’s “40 Under 40.” . Within the BBA, D’Andre has been a member of the Beacon Awards Steering Committee. He is the former Co-Chair of the Government Lawyers Forum Committee, and a former member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Section Steering Committee and the Senior Associates Forum. D’Andre is a graduate of Howard University and Boston College Law School.
