Eric P. Christofferson is a partner in the White Collar, Enforcement & Investigations practice at DLA Piper, LLP and the Managing Partner of the firm’s Boston Office. His practice focuses on the life-sciences, healthcare, and financial services sectors, representing corporations and individuals in government investigations, internal investigations, criminal and regulatory proceedings, and civil litigation. Eric has been recognized for his work in this practice area by Chambers USA and Boston Magazine. He is also an experienced courtroom lawyer who has tried numerous jury trials during his career. Having previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney; Eric is a member of the CJA Panel in Massachusetts and represents—on a pro bono basis—defendants in criminal cases who cannot afford to hire an attorney. He also teaches a class on Health Care Fraud and Abuse at Northeastern. At the BBA, Eric has previously served as Co-Chair White Collar Crime Section, and White-Collar Crime Conference Advisory Committee. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Georgetown Law.
