BBA Public Interest Leader Presents on Credit Reports and Scores

The most recent session of the BBA’s Community Reentry Readiness Program was held on Wednesday at the US District Courthouse and tackled the topic of credit reports and scores. As our members know, this pilot program is has been spearheaded the BBA’s Public Interest Leaders in an effort to ease some of the major civil legal barriers that often hinder probationers reentry of into society. PILP’s Brendan St. Amant (Donnelly, Conroy & Gelhaar, LLP), led the session which outlined practical tips for building credit, obtaining credit reports, and disputing credit reports. With nearly 20 probationers in attendance, this presentation was a huge hit. PILP’s Raquel Webster will deliver the next presentation on Wednesday, September 7th.
