Press Release

The Boston Bar Association is proud to welcome Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP, an 800-lawyer international law firm that focuses exclusively on litigation matters, as a new sponsor.  Quinn Emanuel joins the BBA’s community of more than 13,000 members drawn from law firms, in-house legal departments, government agencies, law schools, and nonprofit organizations.

“We are very happy to establish a relationship with the Boston Bar Association,” said Harvey Wolkoff, one of the Managing Partners of the firm’s Boston office.  “Quinn Emanuel opened its Boston office last year and has already grown quite substantially.  We look to our new partnership with the Boston Bar Association as a key step in expanding our presence in the Boston legal market.”

Quinn Emanuel’s deep bench of attorney talent focused on litigation matters has led to a natural partnership with the BBA.  Aliki Sofis, a Partner in the firm’s Boston office, has recently been appointed to the Steering Committee of the BBA’s Multidistrict Litigation & Class Action Litigation Section.
