The Boston Bar Association’s Summer Jobs Program, celebrating its 20 year anniversary this June, has secured a record 57 summer jobs for Boston Public High School students, with two and a half weeks still remaining for firms to sign on. The program, a partnership between the BBA and the Boston Private Industry Council, the Boston Public Schools (BPS), and the Mayor’s Office, provides paid summer internships that expose diverse urban youth to the legal profession.
Demand for the BBA Summer Jobs Program is also at a record high from BPS students. The Private Industry Council has received applications from more than 100 students at 19 schools.
