Hispanic National Bar Association becomes the BBA’s Newest Affinity Bar Partner

Press Release

The BBA is proud to announce a new Affinity Bar partnership with the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) – Region I. The HNBA will join the BBA and its six longstanding Affinity Bar partners in collaborating towards a more diverse and inclusive legal profession in Boston and beyond.

The HNBA is the largest association of Latinx legal professionals in the nation, with a commitment to advancing the careers of Latinx attorneys; empowering the Latinx community through legal, financial, and educational literacy initiatives; and advocating on issues of importance to the more than 58 million people of Hispanic heritage living in the U.S. and its territories. HNBA – Region I focuses on building and strengthening the local community of Latinx attorneys in New England, providing a range of professional development and networking programs and advocating for solutions to issues that affect the Latinx community in New England and nationally.

“We are very excited to enter into a partnership with the HNBA and I look forward to coordinating our efforts toward a more diverse, inclusive and equitable legal profession in Greater Boston,” BBA President Jon Albano, a partner at Morgan Lewis, said.

We are grateful to all of the Affinity Bar Associations for being our partners in this work; in addition to the HNBA, the BBA is proud to work with the Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys, the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association, the Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys, the Massachusetts LGBTQ Bar Association, and the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston.
