On May 15, the Boston Bar Association honored Chief Justice Mark V. Green of the Massachusetts Appeals Court with the Haskell Cohn Distinguished Judicial Service Award.
Among Chief Justice Green’s many achievements, BBA President Hannah Kilson specifically noted his efforts to increase engagement between the bench and bar, with a focus on collegiality, professional development, and well-being; his tireless work promoting the rule of law and the importance of an independent judiciary, both in the U.S. and abroad; and his efforts steering the court through the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Haskell Cohn award was established in 1975 and endowed by Mintz in honor of the 50th anniversary of Haskell Cohn’s admission to the bar. Thank you to Mintz for the firm’s continued support of the event.
