Boston Bar Association Issues Statement Re: Confirmation of Denise Casper as U.S. District Judge for District of Massachusetts

Upon receiving news of the confirmation of Denise Casper as a United States District Judge for the District of Massachusetts, BBA President Donald R. Frederico issued the following statement:

“Denise Casper is a superb addition to our federal court. She has a keen intellect, a proper judicial temperament, and an outstanding record of public service. Massachusetts is very fortunate to have a lawyer of Denise’s quality joining the federal bench.”

During her years as a lawyer at Bingham McCutchen and as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Denise Casper served as an elected member of the BBA’s governing Council, as a member of its Executive Committee, as a member of the Boston Bar Journal Board of Editors, and as a member of a task force that examined trends in state and federal jury trials.
