Boston Bar Association Congratulates Newly Appointed State Court Administrator

Following today’s announcement that Lewis H. ‘Harry’ Spence has been named civilian Court Administrator by the Supreme Judicial Court, Boston Bar Association President Lisa C. Goodheart applauded the process that resulted in his appointment.

“The importance of this appointment is such that the integrity and thoroughness of the selection process was critical,” said Goodheart. “Sound management of our state courts is essential to the fair, efficient and cost effective administration of justice. We look forward to working with Harry Spence as he fulfills this important role in consultation with the Chief Justice of the Trial Court. A search committee chaired by Michael B. Keating worked tirelessly to get us where we are today, and we can’t thank Mike and his committee members enough for their hard work.”
