Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. – a law firm with 100 attorneys in seven U.S. offices focused on environmental, health, and safety law and related litigation, transactions, and project development – has joined the Boston Bar Association (BBA) as a sponsor firm, supporting the BBA’s mission to advance the highest standards of excellence for the legal profession, facilitate access to justice, and serve the community at large. Locally, Beveridge & Diamond’s team includes seven attorneys based in the firm’s offices in Wellesley.
The firm’s Boston-area practice represents clients in New England and around the U.S. on solid and hazardous waste and site remediation matters, enforcement defense, litigation, air permitting, and land use planning and zoning issues. For example, the office recently supported the environmental permitting for a $1.3 billion industrial plant expansion and defended a manufacturing sector client in a 20-day federal jury trial regarding liability for past site contamination. The firm is currently permitting a solid waste transfer station and defending two recycling facilities in storm water citizen enforcement matters. The firm produces a quarterly Massachusetts Environmental and Land Use Newsletter and serves as the sponsor of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s International Environmental & Sustainability Committee.
In addition, Beveridge & Diamond regularly garners accolades for pro bono and diversity accomplishments. In 2015, the Defense Research Institute honored the firm with its Law Firm Diversity Award.
