Devine Millimet Joins BBA as Sponsor

The Boston Bar Association is proud to announce that Devine Millimet is now a sponsor firm, supporting the BBA's mission to advance the highest standards of excellence for the legal profession, facilitate access to justice, and serve the community at large.

Founded 70 years ago in Manchester, New Hampshire, Devine Millimet has grown into a firm that provides a full range of legal services to businesses, nonprofits, and high net worth individuals throughout New England. The firm’s major practice areas include business litigation and corporate law, intellectual property and intellectual property litigation, creditor’s rights, insolvency and restructuring, medical and legal malpractice defense, banking, commercial and public finance, healthcare, taxation, estate planning, probate litigation, family law, construction, real estate and land use, insurance, telecommunications and utilities, mergers and acquisitions, and ESOPs. The firm also provides strategic consulting, lobbying, and crisis management services through its affiliate, Devine Strategies.

The firm’s Boston office is located at 2 Oliver Street. In addition to Boston and Manchester, the firm also has offices in Concord and Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Rick Levine, counsel at Devine Millimet, and recipient of the Normandin Lifetime Achievement Award from the BBA’s Bankruptcy section, said, “ Sponsoring the BBA was an easy decision: the quality of the educational and public service programs, and the opportunities for connecting with BBA members, are unsurpassed. We are very enthusiastic to join the BBA community.”

Many Devine Millimet attorneys are recognized by peers and national ranking organizations such as “Chambers USA,” “Best Lawyers,” "Super Lawyers," and "Benchmark Litigation." Devine Millimet has also received numerous local awards for its service to the community and for its working environment.

The Boston Bar Association traces its origins to meetings convened by John Adams, who provided pro bono representation to the British soldiers prosecuted for the Boston Massacre and went on to become the nation’s second president. Its mission is to advance the highest standards of excellence for the legal profession, facilitate access to justice, serve the community at large and promote diversity and inclusion.
