BBA Welcomes Looney Cohen & Aisenberg as Newest Sponsor Firm

Looney Cohen & Aisenberg, a boutique law firm located in Boston's Financial District, is the latest on the growing list of BBA sponsors

"We are delighted to formally engage with the Boston legal community and the outstanding work of the BBA by becoming a Sponsor Firm," said Looney Cohen Partner and current BBA Ethics Committee Co-Chair Steven Kasten. "We are excited to support the Association's work and look forward to deepening our lawyers' involvement in it."

Founded in 1995 by partners David Aisenberg and Jim Cohen, the firm focuses on business and professional liability litigation and commercial, finance and real estate transactions. Today, the firm represents lenders, developers, private and public companies and their constituents, legal and accounting professionals, health care organizations and non-profits in a range of transactions and disputes. Each of its three partners has had extensive experience and success in large regional or national law firms as well as professional experience in-house or outside the legal profession. The firm strives to apply this depth of experience to help its clients find creative and efficient solutions to the legal issues they face.

The Boston Bar Association traces its origins to meetings convened by John Adams, who provided pro bono representation to the British soldiers prosecuted for the Boston Massacre and went on to become the nation’s second president. Its mission is to advance the highest standards of excellence for the legal profession, facilitate access to justice, serve the community at large and promote diversity and inclusion.
