What Can the Boston Bar Association Do for Me, My Career, and the Community?
Monday, April 4, 2011
12:00 PM to 1:30 PM
Northeastern University - , Boston, MA
Description:
The New Lawyers Section of the Boston Bar
Association is hosting an informational panel to discuss the opportunities the
BBA offers law students.
Taking advantage of the opportunities the
BBA provides law students, including networking and volunteer opportunities and
practical skills workshops, will help set students up to successfully take their
place in the Boston legal community.
As aspiring attorneys,
law students must go beyond studying casebooks and theory; the BBA practical
skills sessions offer practical insight and guidance from experienced attorneys.
The importance of networking cannot be overstated in the current job market; the
BBA offers forums and networking events with attorneys currently working in the
legal fields of your interest. The BBA also hosts various social events
where you can meet attorneys and other law students in a fun and social
setting.
The Panel will consist of NUSL alumni and current
BBA members and discuss in detail the benefits of getting involved with the
BBA. We will explain the structure of the BBA, its programs, and where you
can fit in as law students. Questions and Answers session to
follow.
Come learn about the resources and opportunities the BBA
has to offer.
