Natural gas utilities in Massachusetts are going through unprecedented changes as they seek to decarbonize while maintaining aging systems.  Calls for reductions in greenhouse gas emissions are being answered by innovative ideas.  Developing a new utility model is a massive undertaking that presents numerous issues and challenges.

This two-part panel will discuss the future of gas companies in the Commonwealth and will feature prominent leaders in the transformation.  The first panel will feature implications for environmental justice populations and utility rate changes stemming from natural gas alternatives.  The second panel will highlight natural gas alternatives and labor related issues.
