Even post-Dukes and Comcast class actions continue to be an important form of litigation. The mediation of class actions demand particular skills and strategies whether the case is a consumer protection case, personal injury/product liability, antitrust, financial, securities or environmental. This panel will discuss the pros and cons of mediating class actions and the best timing tactics and strategic considerations for the participants. In addition, the panel will assess the pros and cons of doing class action mediations in the virtual environment.
