PILP Information & Cocktail Hour

Thursday, November 5, 2020 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Description:

We are continuing to accept applications for our 2020-2021 class of the Public Interest Leadership Program (PILP). PILP is a unique leadership program for new lawyers that promotes both civic engagement and public service through advancing the leadership role of lawyers in service to their community, the profession, and the Commonwealth.  Eligible applicants are BBA members who have graduated from law school within the past ten years and have demonstrated a commitment to public service. The PILP class reflects the diversity of the Greater Boston legal community, in keeping with the BBA's mission.

The PILP class of 2020-21 has been adapted to a remote format, and we are excited to take this opportunity to share with attendees the details of the new remote program. The information session will feature BBA staff and PILP alumni who will provide insight into the program, discuss the application process, reflect on their experiences, and answer questions. All PILP alumni are also invited to attend to catch up with classmates and meet potential future members of the program.

We invite you to join us to learn more about the program and ask any questions you may have. If you are interested in applying, you can download the application here and return it to dnewton@bostonbar.org. Applications are due by November 20, 2020.
