The Boston Bar Association invites you to the 2020 Annual Meeting event. The
Annual Meeting provides an opportunity for members the Boston Bar Association,
and the wider legal community, to come together virtually to hear about the
BBA’s focus for the year ahead, and to hear from and prolific and
thought-provoking speaker.
This year's Annual Meeting will feature an intimate and
insightful conversation between BBA President Marty Murphy and bestselling
author, columnist, and award-winning historian, Jill Lepore. As a Harvard
University Professor, Lepore's scholarly background emphasizes the importance of
evidence in the legal context, in particular the role it plays on how we look at
the truth. “Truth is not something implicit, but rather a societal concept
defined over centuries of laws and norms." (wbur)
While attending the virtual Annual Meeting is free for all, purchase of a
Support Ticket or Sponsorship will go a long way in assisting the Boston Bar
Association in its work providing innovative educational programming, supporting
access to justice initiatives in the community, promoting diversity, equity and
inclusion within the profession, and supporting our City through crucial public
service initiatives. For more information please contact Mariah Hanlon at
