Volunteer for Election Protection, the nation’s largest non-partisan voter protection coalition, to ensure that all eligible voters in the Commonwealth have the ability to cast a meaningful ballot and have their vote counted. Lawyers for Civil Rights is seeking 500+ volunteers to serve in a variety of socially-distanced and/or virtual capacities on Election Day. Volunteer opportunities include participation on a statewide voter protection hotline, a comprehensive field observation program, and a social media and local news monitoring team. By volunteering for a minimum of 3.5 hours, you can serve a crucial role in preventing and resolving issues that would otherwise bar eligible Americans access to the ballot box. Volunteering with students or younger people can also offer a unique opportunity to promote civic engagement.

This training will provide all of the necessary information to ensure that you are well-prepared to assist voters on election day. Attorneys and law students are welcome to volunteer.
