BBA Webinar: Remote Litigation—the “New Normal”?

Tuesday, June 30, 2020 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

The BBA presents live webinars via Zoom. Access to this program is free, included as part of your member benefit. Please register through your BBA account at least two hours before the start of the program to receive the Zoom webinar link. The link will be emailed to registrants on a rolling basis beginning 72 hours before the start of the program. If you have not received a link within one-hour of the program start, please email the BBA contact listed below.

Federal Courts are starting to conduct remote trials and evidentiary hearings. Video depositions and mediations are occurring more and more. As federal and state courts develop a backlog of trials evidentiary hearings, attorneys may find that remote litigation will become an increasingly important tool in their tool belts.  Cost savings may favor the continuation of remote litigation even after the pandemic is in the past.  This is an opportunity for professionals to hear from attorneys that have been knee deep in various aspects of remote litigation to hear what they have learned about the process, and how to best prepare.  Be ready!

*This program is open and free for members and non-members. If you are not a member and do not have a BBA account, please contact Jenna Kim at to register.

BBA Webinars are supported by the Joan B. DiCola Fund. The fund was founded in 2015 in memory of Joan B. DiCola to support the programs and initiatives that foster the education and professional development of lawyers and law students. To support this fund contact Erica Southerland at
