Given that our collective knowledge about COVID-19 has been developing on a daily basis, employers have had to make difficult decisions without much time to plan. Now, as both state and local governments begin loosening the stay-at-home and shelter-in-place orders that prevented workers from returning to work, employers are starting to focus on what the “new normal” looks like in their respective workplaces. Please join our panel of experts for a discussion of the issues facing employers, including:

  • Reducing risk in the workplace while maintaining productivity;
  • COVID-19 safety protocol and policies;
  • Requirements for accommodating employees with health conditions and/or disabilities;
  • The impact of new Work from Home capabilities on future accommodation requests;
  • FMLA and leave issues in the post-COVID world; and
  • Considerations when choosing whether to re-hire workers or re-open worksites.
