This webinar will provide information on Telehealth, starting with a discussion of Medicare coverage, waivers and policies. The panel will turn to a  discussion of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts policies on Telehealth, to provide a model of the private payor response. The webinar will address the provider perspective, including some of the challenges and solutions involved with operationalizing Telehealth services in a health care system. Finally, the webinar will provide an overview of the liability risks of Telemedicine and will discuss recent Massachusetts legislation, S. 2640: Liability Protections for Health Care Workers and Facilities.
