The First Amendment in the Digital Age

Monday, April 8, 2019 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Join us for the third installment of the Boston Bar "Future of Free Speech Series" for an engaging discussion on the role of First Amendment protections in an age defined by technological advancements. Today, it is easier than ever to track and monitor individuals and their activities, and social media has become a primary forum for news and public discourse. The program will bring together a distinguished set of expert panelists to discuss the hottest topics in this space, including issues of privacy and surveillance, the impact of emerging technologies, and regulating digital platforms.

Panel Discussion and Q&A: 5:30pm - 7:00pm. Reception to follow.

The program is free and open to all.
