2017 Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Legislative Forecast

Thursday, January 26, 2017 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Description:

As we kick off 2017 and a new legislative session on Beacon Hill, what civil rights and civil liberties legislative policies will we see legislators take up?  What civil rights and civil liberties laws should lawmakers focus on this year?  In the wake of the Presidential election and the Massachusetts ballot questions, what if any new legislative priorities in the civil rights and civil liberties arena will arise?

After this seminar, attendees will know what the hot button civil rights and civil liberties issues will likely be on Beacon Hill this year.  They will also hear from leaders in the civil rights and civil liberties arena on their predictions for the upcoming year.
