Boston’s Development Boom - REGISTRATION CLOSED

Thursday, September 29, 2016 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Program registration is now closed. To join the wait list please contact Maggie DeMoura at

From the inception of Mayor Menino’s groundbreaking on the Boston innovation center in 2012, Boston has undergone a period of new urbanism and development. Hear from key players in the city’s real estate sector on why Boston’s development market is so strong and also on potential challenges which may limit growth in the future.

This program will include a visual component to showcase new and proposed development projects in the city, coupled by a narrative on how the permitting process works and critical components and challenges real estate attorneys should know about the state of Boston’s development boom.

Panelists will highlight specific projects ranging from urban mixed-use developments evident in the emergence of Boston’s Seaport District to market-rate housing developments surfacing across the city.

Join us for the Real Estate Section's Kick-off Reception  immediate following this program, where you will get a chance to mingle with old friend, meet new colleagues, and hear about the Section's initiatives for the upcoming year while enjoying drinks and hors d'oeuvres.
