Multidistrict litigation involves not just practices and considerations
that are unique to itself, as compared to other areas of litigation,
but it also offers unique opportunities to lawyers in many non-litigation fields. The
presenting attorneys from some of Massachusetts top Plaintiff and Defense Firms will bring their
perspectives and experiences in describing MDLs from beginning to end. In addition, Judges Saylor and Woodlock
have graciously agreed to offer their perspectives from behind the
bench.
During this program, the panelists will also discuss 28 USC §1407, 28
USC §1441, and the Manual for Complex Litigation.
If you have ever wanted to know more about MDLs, how you may get involved in
this fascinating and often complex area of the law or if you would like to learn
more about how your practice could benefit from understanding this law, this is
your opportunity!
