Export control compliance is expanding to address threats posed by foreign nationals and governments seeking to unlawfully obtain U.S. technology.   Our panelists will discuss advising corporate, academic, and non-governmental organization clients.

Topics Include: 

  • U.S. export control laws and regulations concerning defense articles, dual-use goods, and purely commercial technology.
  • Regulatory and enforcement agencies and sanction programs, including those overseen by the U.S. Department of Treasury.
  • Current domestic and international espionage threats. 
  • Best practices for developing an effective compliance program and protecting your clients’ critical technology.
  • Effectively dealing with compliance failures, security vulnerabilities and potential export violations.
