Yvonne Chan represents a wide variety of clients, including financial institutions, technology and life sciences companies, and colleges and universities, in complex commercial litigation matters and in internal and government investigations.

Yvonne has reached successful outcomes for clients in jury and bench trials and in arbitrations. Prior to joining Jones Day in 2022, Yvonne handled a month-long jury trial that resulted in an acquittal for the former president of a pharmaceutical company in a federal criminal anti-kickback case involving allegations that the defendant had directed kickbacks to prescribers in the form of free meals and fees for speaking engagements.

Yvonne serves on Clark University’s Health Advisory Board, which was established to provide guidance on the Healthy Clark COVID Plan and support the university’s goals for health and safety on campus.

Yvonne has been active in pro bono matters, including a successful First Amendment challenge to a ban on charitable solicitation in public places and a favorable resolution of civil rights claims for a wrongfully convicted individual who was exonerated through DNA testing after 19 years of imprisonment.
