Young Paik is a co-founding partner at Paik Deal LLP. He focuses his practice on defending clients in white-collar criminal matters and government investigations on both the federal and state level. In addition, he handles internal investigations and provides compliance advice for companies and organizations, and he assists clients in civil litigation matters. Young began his career at Nutter, McClennen, & Fish LLP. He then served as a prosecutor at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, where he worked in the Health Care Fraud Unit, as well as the Narcotics and Money Laundering Unit. Among his activities in the community, he is a board member of a non-profit organization that helps people with disabilities and a member of the Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts. He devotes significant time to representing indigent defendants in criminal matters. At the BBA, Young has served as Co-Chair of the White-Collar Crime Steering Committee, a member of the White-Collar Crime Conference Advisory Committee, and a member of the Beacon Awards Committee. Young earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law and his B.A. from Tufts University.
