Stephen D. Riden is a founding partner at Beck Reed Riden, where he focuses on complex business litigation, including trade secrets, noncompete agreements, fraud, unfair competition, and intra-corporate disputes. Prior to co-founding the firm, Steve practiced at Foley & Lardner LLP and served as an appellate law clerk to the Honorable Elspeth B. Cypher, Appeals Court of Massachusetts.

Steve is recognized as a leader in business litigation and frequently speaks and writes about trade secret protection, restrictive covenants, and emerging issues in commercial disputes. His work has been featured in numerous legal publications.

At the BBA, Steve currently serves on the Board of Editors for the Boston Bar Journal and previously served as Chair of the Board of Editors and Co-Chair of the Business and Commercial Litigation Section.

He is a graduate of Boston College and Boston College Law School.
