Ronaldo Rauseo-Ricupero is the chair of Nixon Peabody’s Electronic Discovery & Digital Evidence team and a member of the firm’s Antitrust, Regulatory, and Unfair Trade Practices team. Ronaldo has represented clients at all stages of complex criminal and civil matters, including successfully arguing cases before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and the U.S. Courts of Appeal. He has served as a Special Assistant District Attorney and Special Assistant Attorney General. He is the author of the Massachusetts Lexis-Nexis Guide on Massachusetts Electronic Evidence and E-Discovery. In 2020, he was named a Top Lawyer under 40 by the Hispanic National Bar Association.

Ronaldo also maintains an active and widely recognized pro bono practice and was the recipient of the Boston Bar Association’s Thurgood Marshall Award.  He has a longstanding record of civic and community engagement, including service with the ACLU of Massachusetts, East Boston Social Centers, the John William Ward Public Service Fellowship, the City of Boston Scholarship Committee, and the Boston Public Library’s Strategic Planning Committee.

At the BBA, Ronaldo currently serves on the Boston Bar Journal Board of Editors and previously served as a co-chair. He also previously served as a member of the Litigation Section Steering Committee. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Boston College Law School.
