Renee is a partner at Casner & Edwards, LLP, where she helps companies and executives navigate myriad employment laws so they can successfully achieve their employment goals and mitigate risks associated with employment issues. She advises clients on a wide range of high-level, complex employment-related matters, and solves sensitive employment situations with an understanding of the client’s culture, risk adversity, and business goals.

At Casner & Edwards, Renee serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative and as a member of its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Renee is a Trustee of the Boston Bar Foundation and a member of the BBF Society of Fellows and has previously served on the BBA Council and the editorial board of the Boston Bar Journal as well as on the Nominating Committee, the Women’s Leadership and Advancement Forum Steering Committee and the Beacon Awards Selection Committee. Renee is also a member of the Women’s Bar Association, where she served as a Mentor in its Women’s Leadership Institute, and the Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts, where she served on the Board of Directors. She is a Co-Chair of the GBH Board of Advisors Nominating Committee and a member of the Steering Committee of The Asian Community Fund at The Boston Foundation. Renee is a former Chair of the Brown University President’s Diversity Advisory Council and served as the Chairperson of former Governor Deval L. Patrick’s Asian American Commission.

Renee is a graduate of Brown University and Boston University School of Law.
