Payal Salsburg is a partner at Laredo & Smith, where she focuses her practice in the areas of business litigation, corporate advice and counsel, and white-collar criminal defense. Prior to joining Laredo & Smith, Payal was a litigator at a large international law firm, in its Florida and Boston offices. Her work at the firm focused on litigation at the federal and state levels involving breaches of contract, corporate dissolution, fraudulent transfer claims, commercial foreclosures, and patent infringement. Payal is engaged in the BBA most recently as the Co- Chair of the Business and Commercial litigation Section and is also active in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Section, BBA/BBF Joint Planning Committee, Women of Color Attorneys Leadership Forum Committee, and White Collar Crime Section. She previously worked on the Beacon Awards Steering Committee, Women’s Leadership and Advancement Forum Committee, and Ethics Committee. Payal is an active volunteer in her community and is the former Co-President of the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston. Payal holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Saint Elizabeth University, an M.S. of Computer Science from University of Colorado at Boulder, and a J.D. from Nova Southern University.
