Marc is a Partner and current Co-Chair of the life sciences industry group and the emerging company and venture capital group at Ropes & Gray LLP. He represents clients in the biotechnology, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries in a wide variety of transactions, including license, collaboration joint venture and other commercial agreements, venture capital financings, and public securities offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Marc’s clients range from venture-backed start-ups to multi-national biopharma and pharmaceutical companies. Marc served as Co-Chair of the 2019 BBA Life Sciences Conference. Marc is also active in the Greater Boston community, where he serves on the Board of Advisors of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Board of Overseers of the Anti-Defamation League of New England, the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Boston, and the Head’s Council of the Loomis Chaffee School. Previously, Marc has also served on the Board of Overseers of the Boston Museum of Science. In 2019, Marc was named the “Healthcare & Pharma Dealmaker of the Year” by The Deal and is consistently recognized by The Best Lawyers in America and Chambers, nationwide and globally, for his life sciences transactional expertise. Marc is a graduate of Cornell University and Cornell Law School.
