Jason C. Gish is a partner at TLG Law LLC and is general counsel at the Robotics and AI Institute.  He has over 25 years of experience representing technology-based businesses, with a focus on negotiating complex commercial transactions involving technology and intellectual property. He began his career at Wilmer Hale and Foley Hoag and later served as associate general counsel for Fresenius Medical Care, an international medical device and services company. Jason also clerked for the Honorable Alvin A. Schall of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He is a frequent speaker and panelist on topics related to intellectual property, licensing, software as a service, open-source software and artificial intelligence, and has been recognized by Boston Magazine as a Top Lawyer. At the BBA, Jason has served as Co-Chair of the IP Law Section and IP Law Committee, contributed as a member of the Education Committee, and has helped produce many events, including the IP Year in Review. He is also a member of the BBF Society of Fellows. Outside of the BBA, Jason is Co-Chair of the Licensing Executive Society (Boston Chapter), serves on the Center for Basic Needs Assistance Advisory Committee at Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JF&CS), and volunteers for the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC). He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University and a J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
