Elaine is a partner and head of the litigation department at Goodwin Procter LLP, where she focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation, particularly on patent litigation. She has served as a member of the BBA’s Joint Planning Committee and the Amicus Committee. Elaine was also a member of the Boston Bar’s Women’s Leadership & Advancement Forum. She works with numerous public service and civic organizations, including Kids in Need of Defense and the Political Asylum/Immigration Representation Project. Elaine also is an immigration equality attorney representing LGBTQ and HIV Positive immigrants and is a past Co-Chair of the board of Lawyers for Civil Rights. Elaine was honored for her pro bono work with the Boston Bar Association’s Thurgood Marshall Award in 2017. She is a graduate of Allegheny College and the Ohio State University College of Law.
