Deb is the former Managing Partner of Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP and a current Chair of the firm. She focuses her practice on estate and trust administration and estate planning for high net worth individuals and families. Currently, Deb is the President of the Boston Bar Association, a Trustee the Boston Bar Foundation and a member of the Executive Committees of both the BBA and BBF, as well as of the Foundation’s Investments Committee. Previously, Deb served as the BBA’s President-Elect, Vice President and Treasurer. She has served as Co-Chair of the Ad Hoc Spousal Elective Share Committee and as a member of the Nominating Committee, the Joint Finance Committee, the Law Day Steering Committee, and the Women’s Leadership and Advancement Forum Advisory Committee. She is a member of the BBF Society of Fellows. Active in the community, Deb has held leadership positions in Nantucket-based nonprofits and is a member of the Massachusetts Women’s Forum. Deb has been honored as “Women Who Mean Business” by the Boston Business Journal and as a “Lawyer of the Year” and “Top Women of Law” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. 

Deb is a graduate of Bates College and Cornell Law School.
