David is a partner in the Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP Litigation Department and is Chair of Nutter’s Product Liability Practice Group. He represents medical device and pharmaceutical companies in courtrooms around the country presenting various fields of medical science to lay juries and courts. In addition to a national product liability practice, David draws upon his more than 25 years of experience in Massachusetts federal and state courts to deliver business solutions in a wide variety of civil commercial matters. David is a former BBF Treasurer, and in the past has served on the BBA’s Public Service Oversight Committee, the BBF’s Investment Committee, the BBF’s John & Abigail Adams Benefit Steering Committee, and the Pro Bono Committee of the BBA’s Litigation Section. He is the current Chair of the BBF Grants Committee and a member of the BBF Executive Committee. David is also an invitation-only member of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. In 2021, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly acknowledged David with an “Excellence in Pro Bono” award for his many years of service to the Greater Boston community. 

David is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and New York University School of Law.
