Description:

Viewers will hear from presenters working with families and different cultures, their commonality being rights according to the American Rule of law, their respective practitioner, policy maker and judicial perspective about the clash of culture and court intervention that has helped shape the work they do with families.  There will be a focus on domestic, gender based and sexual violence in varying communities, with the Probate and Family Court as an implementation agent for protections of these issues within our communities.  The presenters focus on immigrant families assimilating in the US, their navigation of the judicial systems and seeking help for a family crisis to custody battles.
