Boston Bar Association

bba membership AND dues information
Membership in the Boston Bar Association runs from September 1 through August 31. If you haven't paid your dues by the start of the membership year, you'll continue to receive benefits and mailings for a limited time in the fall, after which your membership will cease. Although we send out reminder notices, your prompt payment of dues will save the Association the expense of multiple notifications and ensure that you continue to receive all of your benefits. Should your membership lapse, you may reactivate it at any time by becoming current on your dues for the year.

Within two weeks of receipt of your dues, we will send you your BBA membership card for the year 2008-2009. Please save this card, and have it handy when you contact us. The card contains your membership number, which will allow us to process your requests quickly.

If your address changes or you need to change your contact information, please get in touch with BBA Member Services as soon as possible. Similarly, if you are having trouble receiving any BBA publications or materials, please notify Member Services so that we may resolve the problem.
