ReDeveloping Brownfields

Click here to order course materials from this program

Tuesday | May 16, 2006 | 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Sponsor: Environmental Law Section and Real Estate Section

While brownfields offer many opportunities for redevelopment, the realities of how to buy, sell, finance and redevelop these properties, all while managing a cleanup and liability risk, are still a mystery to many. By attending this program you will learn the latest developments in brownfields transactions, including real examples of projects that are getting built today.

Experienced environmental and real estate practitioners will address the problems and solutions for all aspects of a project, from purchase and sale to financing, cleanup and construction. They will provide insight into the trends and opportunities in this growing area of real estate and environmental practice; in addition key state and federal attorneys will offer the government’s perspective on cleanups and statutory liability.
